The Rock Hill Bearcats softball team scored 18 runs and limited the visiting South Pointe Stallions to 2 in the Bearcats non-league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Rock Hill improves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Bearcats travel to Spring Valley (Columbia, SC) to clash with the Vikings in a AAAAA Region 3 game on Tuesday, March 14. The Vikings come into the game with a record of 5-4. Spring Valley won 10-5 in their recent non-league game against A.C. Flora (Columbia, SC)

In their next game, the Stallions clash with the Catawba Ridge Copperheads (Fort Mill, SC) in a AAAA Region 3 game, on Thursday, March 9. South Pointe will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Copperheads come into the game with a 4-1 record after their 5-4 non-league loss to Clover (Clover, SC).
