Warren Central Vikings (Vicksburg, MS) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Wesson Cobras (Wesson, MS), 3-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Vikings now sport a 5-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ridgeland for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 10. Warren Central will face a Titans squad coming off a 13-8 non-league loss to Vicksburg (Vicksburg, MS). The Titans record now stands at 7-4.

With the loss, Wesson falls to 3-4 on the campaign. The Cobras travel to Franklin County (Meadville, MS) to face the Bulldogs in a 3A Region 7 challenge on Thursday, March 9. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a record of 0-1.
