In Thursday's league challenge, the Chatham Charter Knights (Siler City, NC) baseball squad triumphed over the host Ascend Leadership Aviators (Sanford, NC), by a final score of 18-2.

With the win, Chatham Charter upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Knights travel to Ascend Leadership (Sanford, NC) to encounter the Aviators in a Central Tar Heel 1A challenge on Thursday, March 7. The Aviators come into the challenge with a record of 0-1. Ascend Leadership lost 16-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Clover Garden School (Burlington, NC)

With the defeat, Ascend Leadership falls to 0-2 on the season. The Aviators host Chatham Charter (Siler City, NC) to encounter the Knights in a Central Tar Heel 1A challenge on Thursday, March 7. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 1-0. Chatham Charter won 18-0 in their recent league challenge against Triangle Math & Science (Apex, NC)
