The Owen Warhorses baseball team (Black Mountain, NC), was overwhelmed 14-2 in Thursday's non-league outing with the host McDowell Titans (Marion, NC)

The Titans now hold a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host A.C. Reynolds for a The Mountain 3A/4A outing on Tuesday, March 12. McDowell will confront a Rockets team coming off a 7-5 non-league win over Tuscola (Waynesville, NC). The Rockets record now stands at 2-1.

Next, the Warhorses confront the Draughn Wildcats (Valdese, NC) in a Western Highlands 1A/2A outing, on Tuesday, March 12. Owen will attempt to advance on its 0-4 season record.
