The Mineral Point Pointers basketball team scored 56 points and held the host Darlington Redbirds to 38 in the Pointers non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Pointers now sport a 25-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Randolph for a non-league contest on Saturday, March 9. Mineral Point will meet a Rockets team coming off a 59-51 non-league win over Marshall (Marshall, WI). The Rockets record now stands at 21-6.
