The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Leigh Longhorns (San Jose, CA) and the host Independence 76ers (San Jose, CA), saw Leigh's volleyball squad beat Independence by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Leigh upgrades its record to 4-1 on the year. The Longhorns travel to Wilcox (Santa Clara, CA) to play the Chargers in a non-league bout on Saturday, March 9. The Chargers go into the bout with a record of 0-1. Wilcox lost 2-1 in their recent league bout against Los Altos (Los Altos, CA)

The 76ers now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Piedmont Hills for a bout on Tuesday, March 12.
