The Schurr Spartans volleyball team (Montebello, CA), went down 3-0 in Thursday's league challenge with the visiting Montebello Oilers (Montebello, CA)

The Oilers (7-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Mark Keppel (Alhambra, CA). The Aztecs come into the Almont challenge with a 5-4 record. In their last challenge, Mark Keppel went down by South (Torrance, CA), 2-0, in a non-league bout.

The Spartans now own a 1-8 record. They play next when they travel to Lakewood for a non-league bout on Saturday, March 9. Schurr will play a Lancers squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Long Beach Poly (Long Beach, CA). The Lancers record now stands at 2-5.
