In Thursday's non-league game, the host Roswell Coyotes baseball team scored a tight 14-12 victory over the Clovis Wildcats.
The Coyotes (5-1) will now prepare for their game against Artesia (Artesia, NM). The Bulldogs come into the non-league contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Artesia by Roswell (Roswell, NM), 7-3, in a non-league contest.
The Wildcats now sport a 0-4 record. They play next when they host Goddard for a non-league contest on Tuesday, March 12. Clovis will encounter a Rockets squad coming off a 7-0 non-league win over Hobbs (Hobbs, NM). The Rockets record now stands at 4-0.
