The Crater Comets basketball team scored 55 points and restricted the visiting Springfield Millers to 39 in the Comets non-league victory on Thursday.

The Comets now sport a 24-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South Albany for a non-league contest on Friday, March 8. Crater will battle a Redhawks team coming off a 48-38 non-league win over Corvallis (Corvallis, OR). The Redhawks record now stands at 21-6.

The Millers (18-9) will now prepare for their contest against Corvallis (Corvallis, OR). The Spartans come into the non-league contest with a 21-6 record. In their last contest, Corvallis was defeated by South Albany (Albany, OR), 48-38, in a non-league contest.
