The Cooper Jaguars lacrosse team scored 19 points and limited the host Dixie Heights Colonels to 4 in the Jaguars non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Jaguars (2-1) will now prepare for their game against Ballard (Louisville, KY). The Bruins enter the non-league game with a 0-3 record. In their last game, Ballard was overwhelmed by Assumption (Louisville, KY), 16-6, in a non-league game.
The Colonels (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Mercy (Louisville, KY). The Jaguars enter the District 2 game with a 2-0 record. In their last game, Mercy toppled Collins (Shelbyville, KY), 11-5, in a non-league game.
