Next, the Purple Hurricane confront the Cook Hornets (Adel, GA) in a 2A Region 1 challenge, on Saturday, March 9. Fitzgerald will attempt to better on its 5-1 season record. The Hornets enter the challenge with a 6-2 record after their 3-2 league win over Jeff Davis (Hazlehurst, GA).

The Rams now have a 8-1 record. They take the field next when they host Lanier County for a non-league challenge on Monday, March 11. Worth County will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to McIntosh County Academy (Darien, GA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-5.
