In Thursday's league battle, the host Fort Bend Austin Bulldogs soccer squad scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Fort Bend Bush Broncos.
The Bulldogs (9-9) will now prepare for their battle against Fort Bend Hightower (Missouri City, TX). The Hurricanes come into the 6A Region 3 District 20 battle with a 0-17 record. In their last battle, Fort Bend Hightower was nudged by Fort Bend Clements (Sugar Land, TX), 9-0, in a league battle.
The Broncos (9-14) will now prepare for their battle against Fort Bend Travis (Richmond, TX). The Tigers come into the 6A Region 3 District 20 battle with a 6-9 record.
