The Bulldogs now hold a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Crest for a non-league outing on Monday, March 11. Burns will confront a Chargers team coming off a 6-0 non-league loss to East Rutherford (Forest City, NC). The Chargers record now stands at 0-3.

Next, the Red Raiders confront the North Lincoln Knights (Lincolnton, NC) in a non-league outing, on Friday, March 8. South Point will attempt to advance on its 1-2 season record. The Knights go into the outing with a 1-1 record after their 5-4 non-league loss to South Point (Belmont, NC).
