In Thursday's league test, the host Asheville Cougars lacrosse squad scored a tight 9-8 victory over the T.C. Roberson Rams.
The Cougars now have a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they host St. Joseph's Catholic for a non-league test on Saturday, March 9. Asheville will face a Knights squad coming off a 19-6 non-league win over Hillcrest (Simpsonville, SC). The Knights record now stands at 4-1.
In their next game, the Rams face the East Forsyth Eagles (Kernersville, NC) in a non-league test, on Saturday, March 9. T.C. Roberson will attempt to move on its 2-1 season record. The Eagles come into the test with a 3-0 record after their 14-4 league win over Mount Tabor (Winston-Salem, NC).
