Atkins Camels (Winston-Salem, NC) followers exited the stadium content Thursday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad nip the host Cornerstone Charter Cardinals (Greensboro, NC), 9-8 in a league battle.

The Camels now have a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they host Western Guilford for a non-league battle on Friday, March 8. Atkins will clash with a Hornets squad coming off a 16-3 league win over Southwest Guilford (High Point, NC). The Hornets record now stands at 4-0.

In their next game, the Cardinals clash with the North Davidson Black Knights (Lexington, NC) in a Mid-State/Mid Piedmont/NW Piedmont battle, on Wednesday, March 13. Cornerstone Charter will attempt to move on its 2-1 season record.
