In Thursday's non-league contest, the St. Joseph's Catholic Knights (Greenville, SC) lacrosse squad routed the host Hillcrest Rams (Simpsonville, SC), by a count of 19-6.
The Knights now have a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Asheville for a non-league test on Saturday, March 9. St. Joseph's Catholic will face a Cougars squad coming off a 9-8 league win over T.C. Roberson (Asheville, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 2-2.
In their next game, the Rams face the Woodmont Wildcats (Piedmont, SC) in a 5A District 1 test, on Tuesday, March 12. Hillcrest will attempt to move on its 0-3 season record. The Wildcats come into the test with a 3-3 record after their 12-3 league loss to J.L. Mann (Greenville, SC).
