In Thursday's league battle, the host Carbon Dinos soccer squad scored a close 4-1 win over the North Sanpete Hawks.
The Dinos (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Juab (Nephi, UT). The Wasps go into the 3A Region 12 battle with a 1-1 record. In their last battle, Juab by Manti (Manti, UT), 1-0, in a league battle.
The Hawks (0-1) will now prepare for their battle against Canyon View (Cedar City, UT). The Falcons go into the 3A Region 12 battle with a 1-0 record. In their last battle, Canyon View nipped Richfield (Richfield, UT), 3-0, in a league battle.
