Spectators at Thursday's non-league match between the Dodson Panthers (Dodson, LA) and the host Jonesboro-Hodge Tigers (Jonesboro, LA), witnessed Dodson's softball squad prevail over Jonesboro-Hodge by a count of 19-4.

The Panthers now sport a 3-8 record. They play next when they travel to Northwood for a non-league match on Monday, March 11. Dodson will meet a Gators squad coming off a 9-1 non-league win over Plainview (Glenmora, LA). The Gators record now stands at 5-3.

With the loss, Jonesboro-Hodge moves to 0-4 on the season. The Tigers travel to Red River (Coushatta, LA) to meet the Bulldogs in a 2A District 3 match on Monday, March 11. The Bulldogs go into the match with a record of 2-6. Red River lost 14-3 in their recent non-league match against Northwood (Lena, LA)
