The Robbinsville Black Knights (Robbinsville, NC) softball routed the host Enka Jets (Enka, NC), 16-11 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Black Knights (2-0) will now prepare for their bout against Swain County (Bryson City, NC). The Maroon Devils go into the Smoky Mountain 1A bout with a 2-1 record. In their last bout, Swain County was routed by Tuscola (Waynesville, NC), 5-4, in a non-league bout.

The Jets now possess a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Erwin for a The Mountain 3A/4A bout on Tuesday, March 12. Enka will confront a Warriors squad coming off a 12-2 non-league loss to Pisgah (Canton, NC). The Warriors record now stands at 0-3.
