The Luverne Tigers softball team scored 15 runs and limited the visiting Goshen Eagles to 0 in the Tigers league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Luverne moves its record to 1-2 on the year. The Tigers host Zion Chapel (Jack, AL) to clash with the Rebels in a 2A Area 4 game on Tuesday, March 12. The Rebels come into the game with a record of 12-1. Zion Chapel lost 4-1 in their recent non-league game against Opp (Opp, AL)

In their next game, the Eagles clash with the Pike Liberal Arts Patriots (Troy, AL) in a AISA AAA Region 2 game, on Tuesday, March 19. Goshen will attempt to move on its 3-8 season record.
