Spectators at Thursday's non-league match between the Hatton Hornets (Town Creek, AL) and the host Lauderdale County Tigers (Rogersville, AL), witnessed Hatton's softball squad tip Lauderdale County by a count of 11-7.

The Hornets now sport a 2-4 record. They play next when they travel to Hewitt-Trussville for a non-league match on Friday, March 8. Hatton will meet a Huskies squad coming off a 11-7 non-league loss to Curry (Jasper, AL). The Huskies record now stands at 6-3.

With the loss, Lauderdale County moves to 3-3 on the season. The Tigers host Clements (Athens, AL) to meet the Colts in a 3A Area 16 match on Monday, March 11. The Colts go into the match with a record of 4-3.
