Horizon Scorpions (El Paso, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Jefferson Silver Foxes (El Paso, TX), 17-12 in a non-league challenge.

The Scorpions now own a 8-10 record. They take the field next when they host Chapin for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 19. Horizon will face a Huskies squad coming off a 9-7 non-league loss to Ysleta (El Paso, TX). The Huskies record now stands at 13-7.

With the loss, Jefferson falls to 0-18 on the campaign. The Silver foxes travel to Del Valle (El Paso, TX) to face the Conquistadores in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 19. The Conquistadores enter the challenge with a record of 8-1.
