The Marcos de Niza Padres softball team scored 22 runs and limited the host Tempe Buffaloes to 3 in the Padres non-league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Marcos de Niza moves its record to 6-0 on the year. The Padres host St. Mary's (Phoenix, AZ) to play the Knights in a 4A Desert Sky game on Wednesday, March 13. The Knights come into the game with a record of 3-3.

In their next game, the Buffaloes play the Dysart Demons (El Mirage, AZ) in a 4A Black Canyon game, on Monday, March 11. Tempe will attempt to move on its 3-4 season record. The Demons come into the game with a 4-5 record after their 19-16 non-league win over Peoria (Peoria, AZ).
