North Sevier Wolves (Salina, UT) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Richfield Wildcats (Richfield, UT), 15-9 in a non-league challenge.

The Wolves now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Gunnison Valley for a 2A Central challenge on Tuesday, March 12.

With the loss, Richfield falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Wildcats host North Sanpete (Mt. Pleasant, UT) to face the Hawks in a 3A Region 12 challenge on Tuesday, March 12. The Hawks enter the challenge with a record of 2-4. North Sanpete lost 13-12 in their recent non-league challenge against Desert Hills (St. George, UT)
