The Pike Road Patriots routed the visiting Russell County Warriors softball squad by a final score of 15-0 in Thursday's league battle.

The Patriots (8-2) will now prepare for their battle against Opelika (Opelika, AL). The Bulldogs go into the non-league battle with a 4-8 record. In their last battle, Opelika was routed by Dadeville (Dadeville, AL), 8-4, in a non-league battle.

The Warriors now possess a 0-6 record. They play next when they host Montgomery Catholic for a non-league battle on Friday, March 8. Russell County will meet a Knights squad coming off a 10-0 non-league loss to Prattville Christian Academy (Prattville, AL). The Knights record now stands at 2-3.
