Pleasant Valley Raiders (Jacksonville, AL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Randolph County Tigers (Wedowee, AL), 12-5 in a non-league challenge.

The Raiders now own a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they host Piedmont for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 8. Pleasant Valley will battle a Bulldogs squad coming off a 10-0 league win over Weaver (Weaver, AL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-0.

With the loss, Randolph County falls to 3-1 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Madison County (Gurley, AL) to battle the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 8. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 9-2. Madison County won 10-0 in their recent league challenge against Kate Duncan Smith DAR (Grant, AL)
