Alabama High School Softball - Washington County bounces University Charter

The Washington County Bulldogs routed the host University Charter Trail Blazers softball squad by a final score of 18-4 in Thursday's non-league battle.
The Bulldogs (5-3) will now prepare for their battle against Chickasaw (Chickasaw, AL). The Chieftains go into the 2A Area 1 battle with a 1-4 record. In their last battle, Chickasaw was routed by Clarke County (Grove Hill, AL), 16-3, in a league battle.
The Trail Blazers now possess a 2-7 record. They play next when they host Pickens County for a 1A Area 8 battle on Thursday, March 14. University Charter will meet a Tornadoes squad coming off a 17-0 league loss to South Lamar (Millport, AL). The Tornadoes record now stands at 3-5.
