The crowd at Friday's non-league battle between the Los Alamos Hilltoppers (Los Alamos, NM) and the host Albuquerque Bulldogs (Albuquerque, NM), saw Los Alamos's baseball team get by Albuquerque by a margin of 3-2.
The Hilltoppers (1-1) will now prepare for their battle against Rio Grande (Albuquerque, NM). The Ravens enter the non-league battle with a 0-3 record. In their last battle, Rio Grande was tipped by Cibola (Albuquerque, NM), 13-5, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Bulldogs face the St. Michael's Horsemen (Santa Fe, NM) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, March 8. Albuquerque will attempt to improve on its 2-4 season record. The Horsemen enter the battle with a 0-1 record after their 13-5 non-league loss to St. Pius X (Albuquerque, NM).
