The Argonaut Mustangs (Jackson, CA) baseball trounced the visiting Calaveras Red Hawks (San Andreas, CA), 10-2 in Friday's non-league challenge.

The Mustangs now own a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to El Dorado for a Sierra Valley Conference challenge on Tuesday, March 11. Argonaut will clash with a Cougars team coming off a 18-5 non-league win over Antelope (Antelope, CA). The Cougars record now stands at 4-4.

With the defeat, Calaveras drops to 2-9 on the year. The Red hawks travel to Linden (Linden, CA) to clash with the Lions in a Mother Lode League challenge on Friday, March 14. The Lions go into the challenge with a record of 4-3.
