In Friday's non-league game, the visiting Latta Panthers baseball team scored a nice 12-0 win over the Atoka Wampus Cats.
The Panthers (1-0) will now prepare for their game against Allen (Allen, OK). The Mustangs go into the non-league game with a 2-0 record.
Next, the Wampus Cats play the Hugo Buffaloes (Hugo, OK) in a 3A District 8 game, on Monday, March 10. Atoka will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Buffaloes go into the game with a 3-2 record after their 13-0 non-league loss to Wright City (Wright City, OK).
