The crowd at Friday's non-league battle between the Brantley Bulldogs (Brantley, AL) and the visiting Goshen Eagles (Goshen, AL), saw Brantley's baseball team gain a win over Goshen by a tally of 18-2.

The Bulldogs (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Straughn (Andalusia, AL). The Tigers enter the non-league battle with a 4-4 record. In their last battle, Straughn was overwhelmed by Vincent (Vincent, AL), 6-3, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Eagles face the Highland Home Flying Squadron (Highland Home, AL) in a 2A Area 5 battle, on Monday, March 10. Goshen will attempt to upgrade on its 5-6 season record. The Flying Squadron enter the battle with a 1-5 record after their 13-0 non-league loss to Montgomery Academy (Montgomery, AL).
