The Carpinteria Warriors baseball team scored 9 runs and held the host Coastal Christian Conquerors to 0 in the Warriors non-league win on Friday.

The Warriors now hold a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Fillmore for a Citrus Coast test on Wednesday, March 12. Carpinteria will play a Flashes team coming off a 14-2 non-league win over Ojai Valley (Ojai, CA). The Flashes record now stands at 3-4.

With the defeat, Coastal Christian drops to 1-3 on the year. The Conquerors travel to San Luis Obispo Classical Academy (San Luis Obispo, CA) to play the Grizzlies in a Coast Valley test on Tuesday, March 11. The Grizzlies go into the test with a record of 0-1. San Luis Obispo Classical Academy lost 12-2 in their recent non-league test against Wonderful College Prep Academy (Delano, CA)
