The Chapel Hill Red Devils baseball team scored 6 runs and held the host Maud Cardinals to 1 in the Red Devils non-league win on Friday.

The Red Devils now own a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Overton for a non-league test on Saturday, March 8. Chapel Hill will play a Mustangs team coming off a 11-0 non-league win over LaPoynor (LaRue, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 11-4.

With the defeat, Maud drops to 2-4 on the year. The Cardinals travel to Harts Bluff (Mt. Pleasant, TX) to play the Bulldogs in a 2A Region III District 17 test on Tuesday, March 11. The Bulldogs go into the test with a record of 2-3. Harts Bluff lost 13-3 in their recent non-league test against Lone Oak (Lone Oak, TX)
