In Friday's non-league game, the host Conway Wampus Cats baseball team scored a close 4-0 win over the Russellville Cyclones.
The Wampus Cats (5-0) will now prepare for their game against Bryant (Bryant, AR). The Hornets go into the 6A Central game with a 2-1 record. In their last game, Bryant nudged El Dorado (El Dorado, AR), 4-3, in a non-league game.
Next, the Cyclones play the Huntsville Eagles (Huntsville, AR) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, March 11. Russellville will attempt to improve on its 3-2 season record. The Eagles go into the game with a 2-1 record after their 8-2 non-league win over Farmington (Farmington, AR).
