The crowd at Friday's league battle between the Dawson County Tigers (Dawsonville, GA) and the host Johnson Knights (Gainesville, GA), saw Dawson County's baseball team gain a win over Johnson by a tally of 16-1.
The Tigers (8-4) will now prepare for their battle against White County (Cleveland, GA). The Warriors enter the AAA Region 6 battle with a 5-6 record. In their last battle, White County was overwhelmed by Pickens (Jasper, GA), 8-1, in a league battle.
Next, the Knights face the Chestatee War Eagles (Gainesville, GA) in a AAA Region 6 battle, on Tuesday, March 11. Johnson will attempt to upgrade on its 2-10 season record. The War Eagles enter the battle with a 1-11 record after their 3-0 league loss to Lumpkin County (Dahlonega, GA).
