North Carolina High School Baseball - D.H. Conley holds off South Brunswick

In Friday's non-league game, the visiting D.H. Conley Vikings baseball team scored a close 5-1 victory over the South Brunswick Cougars.
The Vikings (4-1) will now prepare for their game against South Central (Winterville, NC). The Falcons enter the Big East 3A/4A game with a 4-1 record. In their last game, South Central held off Havelock (Havelock, NC), 8-1, in a league game.
Next, the Cougars face the Hoggard Vikings (Wilmington, NC) in a Mideastern 3A/4A game, on Tuesday, March 11. South Brunswick will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record. The Vikings enter the game with a 2-4 record after their 7-0 non-league win over New Bern (New Bern, NC).
