Florida High School Baseball - Franklin County wallops Jefferson County

March 7, 2025: Monticello, FL 32344

The Franklin County Seahawks baseball team scored 14 runs and held the host Jefferson County Tigers to 0 in the Seahawks non-league win on Friday.

The Seahawks now hold a 7-3 record. They take the field next when they host Miller County for a non-league test on Saturday, March 8. Franklin County will play a Pirates team coming off a 12-2 league win over Early County (Blakely, GA). The Pirates record now stands at 3-3.

With the defeat, Jefferson County drops to 4-6 on the year. The Tigers travel to Countryside Christian (Gainesville, FL) to play the Minutemen in a non-league test on Monday, March 10. The Minutemen go into the test with a record of 6-1. Countryside Christian won 18-9 in their recent non-league test against Meadowbrook Academy (Ocala, FL)
