In Friday's league bout, the Glascock County Panthers (Gibson, GA) baseball squad overwhelmed the visiting Hancock Central Bulldogs (Sparta, GA), by a tally of 7-0.
Next up, the Panthers encounter the Jefferson County Warriors (Louisville, GA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, March 10. Glascock County will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Warriors enter the bout with a 3-6 record after their 16-15 league win over Northeast (Macon, GA).
The Bulldogs (0-6) will now prepare for their bout against Twiggs County (Jeffersonville, GA). The Cobras enter the A D2 Region 5 bout with a 2-4 record. In their last bout, Twiggs County was overwhelmed by Treutlen (Soperton, GA), 8-0, in a non-league bout.
