The Guthrie Bluejays (Guthrie, OK) baseball trounced the visiting Ponca City Wildcats (Ponca City, OK), 7-0 in Friday's non-league challenge.
The Bluejays now own a 4-0 record. They take the field next when they host Bishop McGuinness for a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 8. Guthrie will clash with a Fighting Irish team coming off a 10-2 non-league win over Lawton (Lawton, OK). The Fighting Irish record now stands at 3-0.
With the defeat, Ponca City drops to 1-2 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Putnam City West (Oklahoma City, OK) to clash with the Patriots in a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 8. The Patriots go into the challenge with a record of 1-1. Putnam City West won 13-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Putnam City (Oklahoma City, OK)
