The Marion County Eagles (Buena Vista, GA) baseball trounced the host Hawkinsville Red Devils (Hawkinsville, GA), 15-7 in Friday's non-league challenge.

The Eagles now own a 4-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Chattahoochee County for a A D2 Region 6 challenge on Tuesday, March 11. Marion County will clash with a Panthers team coming off a 15-0 non-league loss to Southwest Georgia Academy (Damascus, GA). The Panthers record now stands at 0-12.

With the defeat, Hawkinsville drops to 5-6 on the year. The Red devils host East Laurens (East Dublin, GA) to clash with the Falcons in a non-league challenge on Monday, March 10. The Falcons go into the challenge with a record of 3-7. East Laurens won 17-4 in their recent league challenge against Jefferson County (Louisville, GA)
