The New Hope Trojans triumphed over the visiting West Point Green Wave baseball squad by a score of 8-2 in Friday's league outing.

Next up, the Trojans battle the Anderson County Mavericks (Clinton, TN) in a non-league outing, on Wednesday, March 12. New Hope will attempt to advance on its 4-4 season record.

The Green Wave (5-10) will now prepare for their outing against Independence (Independence, MS). The Wildcats come into the non-league outing with a 4-4 record. In their last outing, Independence tipped Greenville (Greenville, MS), 16-0, in a non-league outing.
