North Carolina High School Baseball - Overhills nips Triton

The Overhills Jaguars (Spring Lake, NC) baseball got by the visiting Triton Hawks (Erwin, NC), 3-2 in Friday's league challenge.

The Jaguars now own a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Terry Sanford for a All American 3A/4A challenge on Tuesday, March 11. Overhills will clash with a Bulldogs team coming off a 6-4 non-league win over West Brunswick (Shallotte, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-2.

With the defeat, Triton drops to 3-3 on the year. The Hawks host E.E. Smith (Fayetteville, NC) to clash with the Golden Bulls in a All American 3A/4A challenge on Tuesday, March 11. The Golden Bulls go into the challenge with a record of 0-2. E.E. Smith lost 12-0 in their recent league challenge against Terry Sanford (Fayetteville, NC)
