Georgia High School Baseball - Pope defeats Sequoyah

The crowd at Friday's league battle between the Pope Greyhounds (Marietta, GA) and the visiting Sequoyah Chiefs (Canton, GA), saw Pope's baseball team gain a win over Sequoyah by a tally of 8-0.
The Greyhounds (9-3) will now prepare for their battle against Creekview (Canton, GA). The Grizzlies enter the AAAAA Region 6 battle with a 6-6 record. In their last battle, Creekview was overwhelmed by Lassiter (Marietta, GA), 7-6, in a league battle.
Next, the Chiefs face the Lassiter Trojans (Marietta, GA) in a AAAAA Region 6 battle, on Tuesday, March 11. Sequoyah will attempt to upgrade on its 6-6 season record. The Trojans enter the battle with a 8-4 record after their 7-6 league win over Creekview (Canton, GA).
