The crowd at Friday's non-league battle between the Purvis Tornadoes (Purvis, MS) and the visiting Seminary Bulldogs (Seminary, MS), saw Purvis's baseball team beat Seminary by a margin of 6-4.

The Tornadoes (10-2) will now prepare for their battle against Oak Forest Academy (Amite, LA). The Yellowjackets enter the non-league battle with a 5-0 record. In their last battle, Oak Forest Academy held off Washington (Greenville, MS), 12-0, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Bulldogs face the Mize Bulldogs (Mize, MS) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, March 11. Seminary will attempt to improve on its 7-4 season record. The Bulldogs enter the battle with a 10-2 record after their 5-3 non-league win over Wayne Academy (Waynesboro, MS).
