The Kankakee Valley Kougars basketball squad (Wheatfield, IN), lost 56-42 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting River Forest Ingots (Hobart, IN)

With the victory, River Forest advances its record to 17-6 on the year. The Ingots travel to Hanover Central (Cedar Lake, IN) to meet the Wildcats in a non-league battle on Saturday, March 8. The Wildcats enter the battle with a record of 13-12. Hanover Central won 62-55 in their recent non-league battle against Illiana Christian (Dyer, IN)

The Kougars now own a 12-12 record.
