In Friday's non-league contest, the host Westside Christian Eagles basketball team scored a close 59-54 triumph over the Oregon Episcopal Aardvarks.
The Eagles (23-4) will now prepare for their contest against Pleasant Hill (Pleasant Hill, OR). The Billies go into the non-league contest with a 29-3 record. In their last contest, Pleasant Hill nipped Creswell (Creswell, OR), 61-47, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Aardvarks confront the Valley Catholic Valiants (Beaverton, OR) in a 3A Lewis & Clark contest, on Saturday, March 8. Oregon Episcopal will attempt to better on its 18-8 season record. The Valiants go into the contest with a 21-7 record after their 55-43 non-league win over Cascade Christian (Medford, OR).
