Apalachee Wildcats (Winder, GA) fans left the game pleased Friday as they observed their baseball squad nip the visiting Eastside Eagles (Covington, GA), 8-7 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, Apalachee advances its record to 1-3 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Walnut Grove (Walnut Grove, GA) to battle the Warriors in a non-league match on Tuesday, March 11. The Warriors come into the match with a record of 3-1. Walnut Grove won 6-4 in their recent non-league match against Eastside (Covington, GA)

The Eagles now have a 1-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Newton for a non-league match on Wednesday, March 12. Eastside will battle a Rams squad coming off a 10-2 non-league win over Heritage (Conyers, GA). The Rams record now stands at 3-0.
