The Thompson Tommies basketball team scored 74 points and limited the visiting Devils Lake Firebirds to 63 in the Tommies non-league triumph on Friday.

The Tommies now possess a 23-5 record. They play next when they travel to Valley City for a non-league game on Saturday, March 8. Thompson will confront a Hi-Liners team coming off a 60-59 non-league win over South Prairie/Max (Minot, ND). The Hi-Liners record now stands at 24-3.

With the loss, Devils Lake falls to 22-6 on the campaign.
