The Traverse City Central Trojans basketball team scored 44 points and limited the visiting Marquette Redmen to 41 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Friday.

The Trojans now have a 17-6 record. They play next when they host Dow for a non-league game on Monday, March 10. Traverse City Central will confront a Chargers team coming off a 58-49 non-league win over Midland (Midland, MI). The Chargers record now stands at 16-8.

With the loss, Marquette falls to 11-14 on the campaign.
