In Friday's non-league outing, the host Excelsior Classical Academy Flying Lions soccer squad scored a tight 4-2 victory over the Cristo Rey Research Triangle Bulls.
The Flying Lions (2-1) will now prepare for their outing against Triangle Math & Science (Apex, NC). The Tigers go into the non-league outing with a 0-2 record.
Next up, the Bulls confront the Carolina Friends Quakers (Durham, NC) in a NCISAA Triad outing, on Monday, March 10. Cristo Rey Research Triangle will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Quakers go into the outing with a 1-2 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Greensboro Day School (Greensboro, NC).
